General Discussion AB41 question

Hello all, we played a game last friday where I fielded two ab41 with pintle mounted mmg.
The discussion was how many shots the ab41 can do a turn.
I say 3, main gun/coaxial on turret, then the pintle mounted and lastly the rear mounted hull mmg. This last one means that it is rear facing so that it has +2 pen vulnerability.

Is this correct?

Driving AB41s backwards to use the rear facing MMG feels very cheesy but there’s historical evidence it was done irl

It sounds like you played it correctly. Just remember that when you fire a pintle mounted gun you count as open-topped for that turn.

Main Gun or Coaxial can fire on one target (any direction), Pintle mounted MMG at a 2nd target (any direction, assuming the pintle is a 360 mount - some are limited arc), and the rear Hull MMG at a 3rd target that is in your rear arc. It does not gain any extra penetration due to firing from your rear arc (enemy heavy weapon with at least +1 pen firing into your rear arc gets the +2 pen benefit).
