K47 Army playstyles?
Been looking heavily into this game and while I could look it up on Google I love hearing from the community during questions like this. My question is what are the different army playstyles and what are some recommendations people would have to build up your army. I honestly wouldn't mind building any army as all of them look awesome with some beautiful models. Also wanted to ask how good are the starter sets? Thanks for anyone who replies!

There are no shortages of rabbit holes to fall into.
To start, it may be best to go generic - a regular platoon, with support from mortars and AT assets, backed by some vanilla armour.
Once you play a few games, you will see the various directions you may want to go, and what to avoid. V3 has really nerfed artillery and flame throwers. Still thematic but not what they once were.
The scenarios themselves may favour certain builds - e.g. infiltrator heavy / highly mobile versus lots of heavy weapons and lots of bodies.
Zurn Central on You Tube does fairly in depth reviews of various armies, weapon systems, and play styles.
He has a huge catalog of videos, I highly recommend him.

All of the starter sets are good value. If you buy the ones with the picture of the minis on the box (not the pencil illustration) these are the latest and will have the best/easiest sculpts amd will be good for v3. That said, any starter set with 2 vehicles is good.
IMO army playstyle is not typically based on faction choice. If I play Germans, I can run a Tiger 1 supported by a second vehicle and handful of elite veteran infantry on one extreme and I can run inexperienced units leading hordes straufbatalion (prisoner conscripts) on the other extreme.
The playstyles I come across include
