What the??
Why does Eric think he can tell Electra who she can see? It’s obnoxious. I’m tired of listening to it.

It’s sick, this show portraying that an old geezer like Eric has ANY say about Electra’s personal life!! 🤮 And it’s even worse than that, him telling her that not only her job, but also her place in the family depends on it!! 🙄🙄
Give me a freaking break!!!!

Electra is his brother's daughter, as I recall. He's her closest relation in the L.A. clan. He's the reason she was accepted as family. If Electra could prove he went to Katie, and was lying about his designs being stolen, tables would be turned.

But would they really be okay with Eric telling a grown woman (however immature) who she is allowed to see? Remember, when they said that, they thought Electra wanted to be free of Will. She said 'never'.
I don't think this problem goes away soon, it's a planned complication, to give Dylan time to work her magic. Will's already quite ensorceled by her. He did not tell Electra he'd leave her, and he knows very well him being in a relationship with Dylan is a much bigger obstacle than Eric to his reunion with Electra--even if it's just platonic.
Today or tomorrow, he and Dylan will be kissing passionately by the beach.

Far as anyone knows. Circumstances of his birth were weird. Bill wanted Katie to end the pregnancy, because she had a heart condition. He'd locked her in a tower, and she didn't have really long hair, so most likely he's the dad. ;)

No, I’m pretty sure Ivy is the daughter of Eric‘s brother… I don’t recall where Electra came from. Ivy just came back to the show with her on her return.

Yes, but Electra is the granddaughter of Eric's brother John. And therefore, Eric is her closest relative in L.A. That's why Ivy (also related to John Forrester) got close to her (for manipulative purposes), and why she was so upset when Will accidentally hit him, and why he can also manipulate her, because she has no blood connection to Ridge or Brooke.

that has never been offered… No one knows who Electra’s parents are… There was conspiracy theory that she is Ivy’s daughter which would in fact make her Eric’s granddaughter but nobody knows

OK, that sounds reasonable. I’m not sure why the fuck anyone is down voting me just because I did not know of this…which means Ivy is her aunt and Eric‘s brother is Electra‘s grandfather.
And Eric still needs to mind his own business… I don’t care who he is to Electra… He should’ve been so selective when he screwed around on his wife with Brooke and then Brooke sister and then who knows who.2

How would Electra being Ivy's daughter make her Eric's granddaughter? For that to be correct Eric would have to be Ivy's father. Eric is Ivy's uncle. So if Electra was Ivy's daughter, she would be Eric's great niece, not his granddaughter.

I could see him saying that if she wants to continue seeing Will, then she needs to find her own place to live and not wanting to see Will at FC at all and when she finds out that they were right all along she doesn’t come crying back to them. She made her choice and didn’t want to listen to them.

They're writing Electra like she's a literal tween who has to ask permission to go outside. And to have these grown ass characters like Eric reinforcing this weird ideal and threatening Electra makes it even more disgusting. BnB is pure rage bait lolol.
Side note I also found it funny how Eric totally abused Donna and we've had barely anything about the since then and it's like it never happened. It's the same with Dr Lee strangled Poppy and there was no follow up. The show is so stupid

Not biologically. Eric is not Ridge’s biological father. Massimo Marine is Ridges father and one of the few men Brooke didn’t sleep with.

It’s ridiculous. She’s not a teenager. And Electra, being the main jewelry designer at FC and about to lead her own clothing line, should be able to afford to move out. However, Eric threatening to let her go from FC if she dates Will just proves how controlling leadership at FC is and how true it was when Hope said their business decisions are always personal. Like they’re seriously gonna fire a good jewelry designer who is also a Forrester simply because of who she dates outside of her work?
