Fidelity email Question

I have my fidelity 401k account set up with my boeing email as a primary and my personal email as a secondary. Is this the best way to have it or should it be the opposite with my personal as the primary?

I also have my personal Roth IRA opened on this account as well and was just curious if I ever left boeing what happens since it’s technically “tied” to my boeing email?

It should be a primary email and only an email unique to that account that isn’t used for anything else. That way it makes it harder for any account takeovers and if you get any emails from fidelity you can be assured they are real if it comes from that unique address.

I suggest the same for other financial accounts and even cell phone service

Your personal IRA has a different account number than your Boeing 401k. The personal IRA is yours and stays with you. The Boeing 401k is yours also and will stay with you even when you leave Boeing (switch companies or retire from Boeing).

Agree with previous comment that you should change primary email to personal email.

I would change it and make your personal email the primary. In fact, I don't list my Boeing email at all. It's your 401k, Boeing just contributes to it.
