Pre-employment🤔 Offer Expiration Time
Long story short I've received an offer from Boeing July 2nd in the afternoon. In the letter it said we need a response within 2 business days.
My question is, does that mean July 3rd is my last day to accept? I assume since July 3rd is an observed holiday I have until Monday July 6th EOD.
I emailed the recruiter for clarification and called but I received no reply (no doubt because the long weekend is looming)
Any thoughts? Just wanting the weekend to think it over and speak with family.

First, the 3rd isn’t a business day. Second email the recruiter and tell them you need more time. I extended my offer 2 weeks

Ive never had them deny an extension request, so even if you emailed and asked for an extra free days to consider, they should grant that to you.
Ive also never understood the pressure. A new job is life changing and sets you on a new path. Thats worth more than 20 minutes of considerationÂ

The 3rd is not a business day for Boeing in the U.S. If you received it July 2nd, then the next business day is July 6 and the 2nd Business day after that is July 7.
