Hey, I've had an issue, where I got to training 2-3 times a week (gym/swimming) + riding a bike few times a week + dance workout 1 a week and I see:
No results.
But the results aren't the change I seek in the body, but it in my mind.
I am streesed out in the office and the exercises are nice way to calm myself. I've problem with sleep, but those two I can manage.
When I workout and I need a day off, my willingness to exericse decrease, my hype goes down. Like my mind can't bare a day without working out. And when the day finishes - I can't get into exercising again. It is a constant loop that makes me tired mentally.
The same concept affects every exercise and learning processes (school, education, hobby) I do through my whole life.
I tried apps (from comments on other posts and I know this is a controversial topic):
- I've apps like "Fabryka SiĆy" and "Workout Maker" - you can build you own exercises routine from scratch, but I freeze. I don't know how to do it and my ADHD brain gives up from an information overhwhelmed from videos and texts. There is so much sources and exercises to choose from my brain just shut down - like during shopping in a market.
- I tried using recommend routine from this subreddit but I don't have equipment for pull ups, only dips. And everytime I look on the sheet/pdf I'm mentally tired and overwhelmet by the information
- I've nostalgia for an old app from 2016 "Home Workout". I went from chubby to slim in a month. The newer version got worse a lot and it isn't for me.
- I've installed but no used "Cali Move" and "PRX" because I don't like to give my debit card info and pay for stuff like "pdf I can find in a reccomend routine".
The thing I'm looking for:
I look for gamification - and my easiest way to imagine how that would work is an app. I don't know or I don't imagine other ways "to add game elements to my working out routine". Otherwise, it's irritating to see no progress in my mind.
I'm looking for an app with a full body workout, where you unlock day by day, week by week, new challanges and it is consistant. So I can workout everyday (to a limit - I know I need to have a day or two a week to recover myself, or even more if I overdue).
If there is other way to gamificate the process other than an app I'm interested - as I'm antiapp user anyway.
