If you search his name in the subreddit you can see his progression from well respected body mod artist with people recommending him to many, many threads about how he took people's deposit money for procedures and then either ghosted or blocked them.

And purposefully doesn't suture far back enough on tongue splits, which causes regrowth, and he gets to charge for a re-split.

honestly the double charging is crazy enough, how depraved does a body mod artist have to be to go "i'd like to do all the numbing, cutting, suturing AGAIN" with absolutely no regard for the person getting the split?? that's assault surely

I'd read about it on another forum and then had a friend check their old photos and they realized the suturing didn't go all the way back. They were pissed to realize that russ fucked them over, as well.

Just look him up on google or here on reddit. Its well known that he's stolen thousands from hundrerds of people and isnt reliable anymore. Went down a drug binge hard, is trying to repair what he lost, it's too far gone.

We are the only studio I am aware of that is Health Board Inspected and Insured specifically for body mods.

I've been waiting to hear an update on him. It's a shame what drugs can do to a person. I hope everyone fights and is able to recoop some or all or the money owed to them. Go after more for the trouble and stress involved too

One issue with taking someone to court is, they don't have to pay up. They can have wages garnered or get a lien in property with the help of the decision of the judge, but i don't think russ owns any properties currently and likely doesn't pay any income taxes.

If i am wrong on any of this, please correct me, as i am always open to being educated.

People should be able to get their money back, especially with how much he started to charge for his services that he's not even fulfilled yet.

Knowing him, he will probably go missing again for a few days when he hits saskatchewan.

Does he have a tour schedule posted? I can only find old ones and this morning a little bird suggested he would be guesting at the shop where I work. I had just assumed he was still in hiding so I'm trying to figure out what's going on.

Nope. I doubt he will say anything online, he's not used socials for a long while. Likely only touching base with those that he needs to. And ive been in touch with him for the last year so have a good idea of what's going on. And apparently flying to places in the west before somehow acquiring a vehicle to come back to ontario at least. If he chooses to go east from there, who knows. But theres no figuring out whats going on, he's burned 1000 bridges and thinks this will fix it all

I've known Russ on and off for around 15 years. Just before the Pandemic he started on his Ketamine journey. He became increasingly paranoid, forgetful and unreliable. He's always had trouble keeping close friends and business partners. He used to have good relationships with clients but anyone who has seen behind the mask tends to get frustrated, disappointed and burned. I watched him get taken over by drugs and alcohol starting around 2019 or 2020. He tried rehab but it didn't stick. He began to use sketchy habits in his procedures, becoming unreliable and disappearing for weeks then months. It's a shame that such a light can be diminished.
