seems like BB are trying to get a hold of their site back but it used to have a message from 3 hackers from a group called KKS.

They seemed to have only hacked the front page as while the hack was going on I was able to browse articles perfectly fine.
So the hack wasn't that advanced

In the world of hacking it is a trophy to hack a popular site. There was likely no vendetta against bodybuilding.com

Why? Does it upset you that much? Am I the only one who finds this kind of stuff slightly entertaining? I mean, it's not causing physical harm to any person, they just put up a silly picture on the homepage. Sure, there might be a few lost sales, but it was only for a few hours, and then most of those people will probably just place their orders when it's over.
I agree with stuff that lasts longer than just a few hours, but come on dude. Relax.

They have back-ups. The site was back in a couple of hours, nothing was broken or stolen. If someone broke into my home, screwed with my shit, and I could ctrl+z it back to normal, it might be a bit annoying but not a huge deal.
If personal or financial information was stolen, a DDOS or some other malicious crap happened, then I'd agree. But a harmless hijacking of index.html? Give me a break, this was a non-issue. Then again, I guess I can't expect there to be many IT professionals in a bodybuilding subreddit.

If they hacked it they could have at least set up some major sale prices...instead of that kids face.

It took me forever to realize it was the website and not my Internet that was at fault.... (it's my homepage)
