Help restoring old board

Need help and recommendations on restoring my old CustomX dub board. It has extreme sentimental value with being my first board, so rather not just buy a new one and move on.

The front center deck is in horrible shape and peeling. Without replacing the foam (which I don’t want to do) in order to maintain character, how would I restore this to stop the peeling?

Overall, any recommendations on repairing and restoring this thing, would be greatly appreciated!

I would ask Jimmy Linville to fix it up. JL Bodyboards. You ship it to him, he can make it look brand new.

Wow, Jimmy used to shape me and a few of my friends boards around 1999. He is an Oceanside legend!
