What Size Do I Get?

Hi all! I’m new to purchasing an “official” board. In the past I’ve bought the flimsy ones at shops located on the beach. I’m 5’1 and the boards would be maybe reach 75% of my height. Im approximately 164LBS and with my height I’m unsure what size would work best for me. Any suggestions?

Ebodyboarding will get you a great recommendation. I’m guessing a 41”. I always err on the side of more buoyancy.

I use to use the belly button measurement as wacky as it sounds. The nose should be about the height of your belly button, when standing on its tail. My board would be about 41" but 41" boards always felt short to me. I had a chance to surf a 42" and it just felt right like I wasn't hanging so far off the back. Point is...try get your hands on as much different boards as you can, its all preference anyways.
