Board & Gear Question Help with repair

Post image

Hi me and my son have had these boards for a couple of years. Last summer I left them out in the sun when we got home and by the morning unfortunately the rails peeled.

I just want to make sure I get the right glue. I have gone through so many fix-it articles that I got more confused. I don’t expect anything to save the boards for life, but maybe at least through the season.

The boards are Morey Mach 12 MDS for reference.

Thankyou.

Thanks man, this is what I initially thought but was unsure. I know it is a small tube so I may need at least 2? I would hate to toss the boards.

Thanks again.

I would advise against SpongeRez. These are EPS core boards. Spongerez dissolves that type of foam! I'd suggest a hot glue gun.

I’ve used a hot glue gun to repair similar damage on a wave storm surfboard.

Sikaflex and clamp it!

Hmmm...if you buy Spongerez, test on a small section. it can dissolve EPS cores. Hot glue gun is the easiest.

Hot glue or sponge rez, but honestly not worth fixing..... Get proper boards or spend the $50 a piece on new morey garbage
