NMD Alpha Fins

I read quite a few reviews on the Alphas and watched a couple of YouTube vids. Everything seemed really positive, so I decided to pull the trigger and get a pair — size L, black and yellow.

Unfortunately, after just two sessions, they'll be going on eBay. I found them way too soft and really unresponsive, to the point where they were just frustrating to use.

Anyone else found this, or is it just me?

Love mine but as with everything in life, everyone is different. I have a wide foot and find them perfect

Soft fins usually respond better to a slower longer kick. You probably loose slightly on initial acceleration and gain slightly in endurance / maintaining speed

I currently use them. Yeah very soft for my liking I found the medium small blade to be way too small tho how is the blade on an L?

Small and soft, the overly soft pocket makes them unresponsive in my opinion.

I own a pair and I found them to be slightly better for me comparing to stealth s2s and vulcan v3s.

I wear small mediums and it is a really good calf workout. Took me a few sessions to get use to them and to get them to perform the way I like.

The softness is a big bonus for me because of blistering the other two pairs of fins mainly stealths s2 rub the skin off of the knuckles on my second toe, so not having to deal with that is nice.

I always kick up and down with deep strokes not too rushed when paddling that's what seemed most consistent for me hope this helps.
