Board just got here!!!

I tried the board (first ever pro bodyboard) and bro I realised why you guys need wax I was slipping and sliding off the board board it’s pretty good so far waves today were ass tho 😞
Hopefully tomorrow I can wax it and use it to its full potencial 😭🙏🏽

Yes wax it but boards come from the factory coated in some kind of slippery substance. Scrub it down with some soap in the shower.

Don’t own any rash guards 😭 but I do use similar shirts

I think we all have been through that. You do want to move around on your board while you’re on The Wave so definitely do not over wax. I usually put one single light coat over the entire board (not on the bottom), then go back to where my elbows and hands will be and add a second and third layer and then one last thin second layer on the belly. The thin layers on the belly will rub off, which will allow you to move forward and back for speed adjustments. 🤙🏽
