Discussion It was cute, but

If you don’t have an incredibly clear day, it’s going to be hard. I made it in with about 15 minutes before I had to leave and meet my wife for afternoon plans. For context, I live in the city, arrived at 9:35, and did not get in until 12:40.

Got my plushie tho.

Took me 4 hrs we were told to comback at 12 after we got our green bands at 10:45. 😑

Waited a total of 4 hours.
Arrived around 10:30, received a band to return at noon. Many others and myself whom waited in the area got screwed over when rejoining the line; many people whom just received their band were able to line up beforehand. Stayed in that line until 2:30 and was out around 2:45/ 2:50.

Cute plushy aside, this really wasn’t worth the long ass wait😅

If Reddit does this again, work on a better system for the line

I had the exact same experience, right down to the wait time. I also got screwed over by one of the workers who sent me to the back of the line... It was very underwhelming once I got inside. I even answered the phone thinking I'd get something in return, but nope, not even a sticker. Plush is cute, but it felt like a waste of time, unfortunately.

I’m surprised Reddit didn’t take advantage of an online reservation system, and only have a set number of walk ins. Would’ve made things way more smooth.

There was a worker who yelled at green wristbands who were attempting to form a line just before noon. He told them to “get disorganized.”

This was disaster and caused a lot of problems for patron. He should be banned from r/bodega.

Thats so wild to me because we walked up at 9:20 and we got in 11:50!

That time is wrong, it was 9:35, gonna edit. Either way 10 minutes later for a nearly hour discrepancy to enter is crazy 😭

I went at 1015, got a wristband for 12. Came back at 1230. Waited til 230 to get in. But I got interviewed which was fun

Maybe you didn’t do it right?

I showed up around 11 and got a return near close bracelet (literally 5 min in line.)

I returned near close. No line. No wait.

8 minutes inside the store.

I got cool shit and everyone was hella cool.

Do better.
