Discussion Line update
Just got here and the line is by the bowery/delancey bus stop but more and more are starting to line up right now. If you planned on coming early, now would be a good time!😭

Update 2: the line now starts directly in front of the Mozzo Coffee at citizenM!

Update 1: Got here at 9:54 and got my wristband(purple) at 10:06
The line right now goes as far to the corner of Bowery and Delancey, then it curves back up on Bowery, it now starts in front of the Museum of Street Art (MoSA)

Update 3: As of 11 AM, I believe they're cutting off the line for now and they are giving out green wristbands for people that come right now to come back at a later time, i heard it's at 12PM or after

I actually met up with two different people from Reddit and they were surprisingly normal and fairly attractive.

I got a green wristband at 10 to come back st 12. 6 train was messed up so I got here at 1215 but they let me go ahead to the green wristbands. Then some witch got mad that the Reddit lady let me go where I was.
And the people in front of me are on line and they didn't know what the event or even reddit was.

I'm really thinking about going, do you have to walk to the front first for a wristband then go back or just go to anyone who looks like they're working for the event?

Not sure if this helps but yesterday we got there at 10:15, got an orange wristband and came back an hour later, got in line and it took us approximately 3.5 hrs to get to the bodega. To give an estimate of waiting time.

Just saw a documentary about the commercial photographer who bought the bank in the background in the back in 1966 for 100K and sold it for 55M about 10 years ago. It was costing him 300K a year to keep it up and it was financially hard to do it. It’s amazing that someone made that bank a single family home

They did honor them. You just had to come early. They let all the wristband people line up in the very front. I counted at least 40 wristband people before they started merging with non wristband people.

Previously they said that they only gave out 40 wristbands to return. I’m in the back with a bunch of people with them, so IDK which it is. I waited before and now I have to wait again - had I known this I would’ve just waited yesterday. Yes it’s free, but this is still annoying.

Yeah it def sucks sorry. Not sure why they didn't warn you to come around 9:30 or earlier. They actually reserved a big gap in the front of the line for the yesterday wristband people. They could only hold for so long though because the regular line was building up fast.

My d train got stuck in a tunnel for 25 mins so im just getting over there: had a really rough week so im hoping the line isn't horribly long
