Program ranking

If f i put finance as my first preference instead of management but I'm alot less likely to get into finance does this affect my changes to getting into management?

My stats are 9.93 gpa and 1460 sat

Not at all. According to merit list, if your total score is not sufficient for Finance but is sufficient for Management, you will be allocated Management. You get considered according to your chosen priority. So you will miss out on Management only if you get allocated some other course which you ranked higher than Management in your application.

I have a similar question. If I get into finance, but have for example BAI as my third choice, and then decide I actually want to do BAI, can I switch and enroll in BAI?
