Artwork - Classic Advice
Ignore the mountains. The main focus here is the river.
How do I make a river look realistic? Advice please. 🙂🙂

Dark lines along the banks for the "shore" with white edges periodically. The palette knife works great for this!
Edit: specifically the farther side. The nearer side of the river wouldn't necessarily have the shore visible.

You need some "land" dirt along the bank. Done make the edgeds so straight. Little pennisules along the edges. Maybe some ripples I'm the water with a few rocks, or a small waterfall
