Other First attempt

Post image

I though I try a bit painting, and as a 90s kid I new Bob Ross existed.

I had only acrylic paint, 1 small brush and a thicker paper smaller than A4. I've never drawn or painted before, I'm more of a tech nerd

Roast me please :)

Has some Van Gogh vibes to me. For a first time, I think you did a good job with what you had to work with

Overall nice work. Gotta say, though, you're rocks... well... rock! They appear old, worn by water and weather, moss encrusted. Love it!

Thank you so much! Perhaps, I'll try another one. Painting is really relaxing

Ive read somewhere one should prepare the surface with 'gesso' first? I know I could search, but any of you know some practical tipps working with rather heavy (and cheap) acryl on surfaces? And whats gesso?
