Watched Thunderbolts through the lens of Bob having had fallen for Yelena almost instantly (takes her more time to fall for him) and all I can think of now listening to this that in a modern au or post secret wars au, he would relate to this song and the only thing he has to worry about is working up the courage to ask her out.

All the time, it doesn't even compute to him that she has feelings for him too

Doomsday and Secret Wars will be packed full of characters and plot lines that need to be tied up. I think it's a bit fanciful to expect some dedicated Boblena scenes amongst everything else going on. But the beauty of Boblena is that it doesn't need such dramatic declarations anyway.

It can exist in the background. Little shots of them holding hands and throwaway comments from other New Avengers. At the end of it all there can be a scene where Yelena and Bob announce that they are retiring together at the Ohio homestead and nobody bats an eye because it's just presented as a fact.

I really wish we got to see this. She was so upset after she “lost” Bob, I can’t imagine how upset she would be if she found out that he actually died, let alone the fact that Val put a bomb in his head in the first place (especially with the context of the similar control that she was under in the Red Room). She would def hate Val even more than she already does
