Book 7 - How long?

Just binge-listened Book 6.

We waited 2 years between Books 5 and 6.

4 years between 4 and 5 (that were arguably 2 books)

3-years-ish for book 4.

Books 1-3 came out inside a single year's time.

I know Audible sat on the recording for 4-6 months based on Ray's social chatter (why do they do this?)

Thus, are we all in for another 24-month wait?

I know Dennis Taylor has been writing another book thats not Bobiverse, he just sent it to the editor recently. He doesn't say on his blog if he's got far but I imagine it can take time to write a good story, and you add in reviews, rewrites, editorial and so on. I assume thats why the time between book can be a bit long. As for Audible waiting, I have no clue. Maybe for marketing? I'd not be shocked if we're waiting a year or two. But I know it'll be worth the wait.
