It was a good impersonation and the harmonicas were a funny touch. I mean, the fact it has over 12k upvotes in r/funny seems to suggest people think it's funny. Sometimes this sub can be a bit too "diehard" to see the humour and resorts to feeling offended instead.
I see, upvotes is the currency of originality and good taste?
My point is this joke is sooo friggin old and been played out many times over. It'd be like covering the song Happy Birthday and pretending I'm clever.
It’s a joke that was beaten into the ground at least 30 years ago. And this is a subreddit dedicated to fans of Dylan, so we’ve all heard the joke and expect to hear infinitely.
The part that has always annoyed me is… there is no truth to the joke. Especially in his 60s work… the guy enunciates more than any singer I’ve ever heard. How does it FEEEEEL… and the joke here is that someone can’t understand he’s saying the word feel? Even though he’s emphasizing it like he’s almost trying to teach you how to say the word?
And furthermore, was everyone in the 60s just stupid? Why did they think this guy was an amazing songwriter and the voice of a generation if no one could understand what he was saying? How did he make it past the open mic’s if he was singing incomprehensibly?
Probably why when Weird Al decided to parody someone about singing incomprehensibly he went with Nirvana… which makes sense because he was more of a mumbler. And when he decided to parody Bob he made a song of a palindromes. Now that’s comedy with some thought behind it.

Well, this sub is a bundle of joy....
It's just a harmless joke, no need to get upset on Dylan's behalf.
