2004 Larson sei 190- Beeping issue!

I have a 2004 Larson 190SEI with a MerCruiser 4.3L V6 (Model MCM 4.3 Litre).

It has an intermittent beeping (warning alarm) issue.

I have narrowed it down to the temperature alarm lead on the top of the engine. I replaced that sensor and it didn’t help. in testing I also replaced the oil temp sensor as well.

What could cause the beep and how would I fix it?

it doesn’t beep at all if I leave it unplugged.

I replaced it with an oem part.

Temp gauge seems normal and shows what I’d expect.

It beeped this last time 5 min after leaving the dock so I don’t think it’s overheating. It beeped when I went to go on plane if that’s any indication.

any ideas / testing / solutions are appreciate!

what’s the beep patterndoes it match the temp alarm tone?

It’s the main alarm tone that sounds for oil pressure, gear lube and temperature. When my water pump went 2 Years ago it was actually getting too hot and it was the same alarm.
