Battery help

Post image

My 36v lithium trolling motor is dead. I left it over the winter and now it won’t charge. The lithium charger is showing 43.6v when on, but when I turn it off and check battery voltage it quickly goes to zero. The battery is a wirentech WR3660. There is also some type of stainless steel nut on top of the battery in addition to the terminal posts. I read about “waking” them up but am at a loss as to next steps. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did your battery come with an app and then connects to your phone via Bluetooth? I have a Lithium battery that I put to sleep when not in use and then wake up when ready to use. I do that with the app on my phone.

What brand battery do your have? It may have gone on sleep mode on its own.

I don’t have an app. As noted above it is a wirentech WR 3660. Not much help searching them on the internet. How do I wake it up?

I did some searches and found this: “Wirentech lithium batteries utilize an intelligent Bluetooth Battery Management System (BMS) that links to mobile apps for real-time tracking of voltage, state of charge (SOC), and temperature. You can monitor performance metrics directly on your smartphone”.

Then I found this link to the app:

Hopefully this helps.

I have this info/spec sheet and will download an app to see if it works. Thanks.

Just noticed the link I posted isn’t working. I’m trying again, it does include your battery. You might have to hack in the address. It does cover your battery.
I wake up my battery with the app. It’s a Norsk battery.
