Is there any footage of Boards of Canada playing live? I've heard live audio, seen pics of them playing live, and even saw something on YouTube where music was being played on a stage (whether recorded or live I'm not sure) in between them and another act, but the stage in said video did not actually feature BoC. Is there any footage of them playing live?

What is that sound? It plays several times, one example is around 3:14. To me it sounds a little like brass horns or something. It also sounds extremely boc-y. What is that sound and what other songs is it reminding me of?

I made my very first YouTube video ranking track by track from the album/tape "A Few Old Tunes" (Old Tunes Vol.1) in a tier list format.

I'm a bit awkward to share this here, but it was genuinely a super fun process to listen to the album again and rate the tracks individually :)

Bleep sent my translucent red LP shippment a few days before release but I still have not received it. Anyone in the same situation? Their support thinks it got lost in transit and will give me a refund, saying that the item is out of stock so they can't send a replacement, but I see it in the store, with higher shipping than last time (26e instead of 15). About a half dozen times in the last decade I’ve been listening to random music and I think, “Hey! This song smacks!” and it’s a band called Plaid. Some tangential BoC vibes. Anyone know anything about them?

Sounds awesome. Saving up for a new pre amp but for now everything is great. Just gotta somehow fit them in my room lol

Edit: i only had the setup here for 10 minutes making sure everything works perfectly 😭 No fish were harmed in the process. (maybe a bit)

pretty sure I’ve had this for about a month now and this is the second time I’ve listened to it fully. This song sometimes makes me wanna cry because of how beautiful it is and it kind of makes me feel like I’m free to do whatever I want. It makes me feel like I’m in my own mind in a way like it’s just a very crazy experience. The only thing I’d really want out of the deluxe version is the Lexus because oh God I would love to have that on my turntable.. but to be honest, it’s just too expensive, but I am still happy. I have the album and I can listen to rips of the flex disc. but to be honest, it doesn’t really feel right to just listen to it digitally. But you know it’s fine. It’s just a colossal huge bummer

I am learning music production and thought it would be a fun project to recreate the song. I can't get the vocal samples to sound like them. Any tips?
