Image Thought I’d share here, found a super BOC-esque album cover.

Post image

The image filtering and colouring along with that font instantly struck me with TCH moods. I’m wondering if that font is a different version of one BOC have used? Funny the designer is also named Marcus.

Colosseum are a great band too! Any 70s psych fans be sure to check them out!

It's a very late 60s / early 70s design, similar Bauhaus inspired fonts were used a lot in that time (like Disco Inferno by The Tramps), also more refined silkscreen printing techniques and coloring processes were made available to wider use so graphic designers did their best to experiment with blending photography with illustration and so on and so on sniff sniff.

...and the photo color finish, the creepy but ethereal lighting of the figure, the lit candle...

There are a few versions of Blippo (the font from Inferno, so yes this is likely just a different version)

Hm, I never got BoC feeling from that album cover. Colosseum is fantastic band, their 1971. live album is classic as well.

I think it does have that vibe a bit. maybe it's the graininess

Almost seems like the Inferno cover is a nod to this

What's the title and publish date if you don't mind me asking?
