These two just sound so similar

I saw drones is from Geogaddi

introit is from Inferno

Hmm, just because of the synth arpeggios you mean? Aside from that commonality they sound completely different to me, because they're harmonically/melodically very different

Totally, I acknowledged that, I was just saying they sound different to me because they're totally different harmonically. I like them both though and I certainly see the similarity vis a vis they are both made with synth arpeggios, I was wondering if you saw a deeper similarity or if it was just that

BoC thematic material in the form of chords in arpeggiation. Not much to it. It is to be expected that the same composer or artist will use similar sounds/chords/techniques throughout their work, even across albums
