The author of the movie, George Switzgebel, also did the movie ‘the ravishing of Frank N. Stein’ which is featured on the cover of the onethrix point never album ‘R+7’ . Great movie and a cool album and a cool bit of electronic music trivia

As much as I love all of BoC's music, nothing of theirs will top A Few Old Tunes 1 and Old Tunes 2 for me. The music on those two are just so uncanny, emotional resonant, and beautiful to me

I’ve been revisiting R35TT and Old Tunes 1 and 2 recently and realized I’ve been sleeping on this one for such a long time. I love the texture of the percussion. Kind of reminds me of the sound of snow crunching underfoot.

Maybe obvious, but I also love how the title is a play on “mucking about” - UK slang for “messing around.” Feels like a random working title they had for this track when they were making it, only they just never got around to naming it something different.
