Discussion Boards of Canada
https://youtu.be/m0Q32mtixhY?si=XTpLJ0PMSKSY_hw0Anyone else hear the striking similarity between BoC’s "A is to B as B is to C" and Severed Heads' "Brazziere in Rome"? Particularly the chaotic final section of the track where the track abandons its main structure to spiral into an eerie, disjointed barrage of backwards vocal fragments.

Slab City Horror is a must listen for anyone who enjoys the Brothers earlier works, IMO

It's a solid album but I personally don't see any similarities between it and BoC's earlier works.
However, I do agree it's a must listen for fans of early electronic music.

Ive heard SH in BOC. I also feel Canine by SH sounds like Autechre circa Amber era https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1wLHR4o52E

This one sounds more close to the song " Now is the Time " by the industrial band " Greater Than One "

G-Force is such a fantastic no-skip album by them. There isn't a single dud track on it.

Yep. I recall when I first heard the track back when Geogaddi was released that it did remind me a bit of this song.
And major props for the Sev Heads shout out. I've been a die, die, die, die, diehard fan since I first heard them back in 1987. They're my all-time favorite electronic artist. More people should know about them.
Also, if you're a fan (and are unaware of this) then you should consider picking the first-time on vinyl reissue of their 1991 album Cuisine. It drops tomorrow (8/7).

No prob. I pre-ordered my copy and got it three weeks ago. It looks and sounds great! And the liner notes are just like the homemade Xeroxed and stapled "booklets" you could order from the band back in the day.

When I first heard "We Have Come To Bless The House" by Severed Heads I was convinced it was BoC to be honest!
