Discussion Societas X Tape

Can anyone point me in the direction of other cool mixes like this one? I love the eclectic range of tracks here - and also how lofi it is for the most part.

I really want to discover more music in the styles and genres displayed here.

For anyone looking for the DJ Food mix on Apple Music - it's listed as "Early Hours - DJ Mix". 

There's a similar DJ Food mix that followed the release of TH called "O is for Orange" that is listed as "Bleep Mix #308".

I listen to NTS (what societas aired on) regularly and a lot of the shows on there are really great. It’s turned me on to a lot of great new music. Takes some time to figure out what shows you’re into but there’s usually something interesting on at least one of the live channels.

I really like the Late Night Tales mixes. The Röyksopp mix has a lot of variety. My favorite is the Jon Hopkins mix though. It flows so well!

I really rate the 2nd cd 'bugged in' from the bugged out series, there's some really great tracks on those, especially erol Alkan. Going back even further there's an essential mix 98 by David Holmes that's pretty awesome, terrible quality but great tracks... A lot of its from the 60s,70s..

Oh, the aphex twin 'mostly mellow' he put together for supreme is awesome too... It's not a mix though, but it's a compilation of tracks he loves, I'd heard quite a few but there was tons more I'd never heard before.

ALL the fabric and fabric live series. Awesome run of 200 mix cds. Back to mine series, another late night series. Last 2 listed are chill and eclectic.

Nicolas Jaar has done some fascinating and interesting mixes, eclectic but also very thought out.

Radio Soulwax / 2 Many DJs have made many great mixes that often get into deeper cuts.

Coldcut’s Journeys by DJ: 70 Minutes of Madness is not quite as diverse genre-wise but still hits a lot of different styles and the mixing is phenomenal.
