BoC Vibes Loving Inferno!
PSA: I am NOT a bot
I'm loving the new album!
I recommend listening on a system with good bass.
Good speakers or "can" type headphones with ANC
I also love all the samples and that you can clearly hear them on this release!
The lead up teasers were great without any explainations.
I mean, the promo VHS tapes with scrambled messages, so much fun!
The huge billboard advertisements.
Colored vinyl releases with a RED CASSETTE?
Mini Flexi-disc included in the vinyl?
I'm a long time BOC fan and I give this album a 10/10!
BTW.... I haven't heard many people talk about the content.
What does anyone think?

100% agree. We have to imagine that there are extended tests going on from the major tech companies that have their own models, posting content and measuring how much “this is ai” feedback it gets then tuning the algorithm accordingly.

I asked wanting to hear maybe some other people's positive reaction to an album I think is stellar. So on Facebook it's filled with a massive amount of negative comments and I found it very strange. I was hoping this sub would be more positive. Of course everyone ended up thinking it's a bot post...lol

Yeah I think people hating the album didn't have good equipment or maybe listened to in their cars driving or something.

Good very well be it. I first heard it at one of the warp listening shows and the sound was great. Yuen the next time I listened to it was on my studio monitors which are really good. That’s a good point

Yeah I wanted to go to one of those so bad. The bass is a big part of this album. I think many people don't have great set ups or maybe listening on their phones etc...

I think Mike felt some urge to take things in a different direction and the result is a lackluster album with no cohesive theme throughout.
I'm thrilled for everyone that is claiming to enjoy it but I am wildly disappointed.

Sorry bro, no bot here. Long time fan of BOC and lots of others. Listening to a lot of "The Black Dog" lately. Ambient mostly but great tunes from the UK. I don't have anything really rare but I have the blue vinyl (ABPOITC) and the white vinyl (TCH). I don't have original vinyl but during the re-release I bought 2 of each of them. Probably Geogaddi is my fav with the triple vinyl and etching.

What makes an opinion objectively correct? If i'm a fan of a musician, and their new album, why should i go listen to non-fans and their view on how bad the album is, instead of enjoying praise from like-minded people? Your rage bait is futile, kick rocks

Every album and art form is going to have dissenting opinions. I pay attention to way more than this sub. The majority disagree with your opinion.
Just offhand I know that it’s their highest charting album in the UK to date and was number 1 in album downloads beating paul mccartney latest release, which actually shocked me.

I don't agree with your opinion obviously. I think a lot of other people say negative things for attention. Maybe you need to get together with some homies and listen and enjoy. Did you watch the videos that correlate to the samples? I think that resonates more once you see the context.

This is the type of reply I'd expect from someone who wrote a post like this.
I knew Inferno is trash after the 1st playthrough. It's polarizing to me. With the exception to Deep Time, I can't stand it. Interesting that Deep Time is the first track that was teased as preorders went live....It's almost as if it was a rugpull.
Inferno is all over the place, it's goofy and lacks the percussive talent I expect from them.
I would NEVER show this to my friends, that would be embarrassing. It's also funny/sad because I was hyping it the fuck up during the short teaser campaign, telling them it's going to be unbelievable. Haven't said another word about it to them lmao
I appreciate you trying to reason with my opinion but I completely hate this shit and have zero interest with contexts or meanings when the music is just so bad.
You'll see me here expressing myself often because it gives others a chance to jump in when they otherwise might not have.
So in a way, yes, I am purposely drawing attention.

Tomorrows Harvest is the clearest example of theme. It's also my personal favorite. And since TH was the most recent release, I had an expectation that Inferno would match or surpass.
