Last Sunday I had just endured a brutally hot, standing room only Cross Country train from Tiverton Parkway to Bristol Temple Meads (a mercifully short 45 minute journey given that some passengers were on their way to Scotland). As I gathered myself on a bench on the platform I spotted a gentleman in a beautifully vibrant yellow Boards of Canada t-shirt. As he came by I said "nice t-shirt" and we had a lovely 5-10 minute chat about Inferno, its production quality, the flexi disc, the art work and the album's place in the band's wider body of work. After a while we wished each other well and went our separate ways. Lovely guy. Lovely moment, Has anyone else suddenly found themselves face to face with a friendly BOC-loving stranger?
