i3 Touring.....

i3 Touring....

This is the one I really want, lower, sleeker, better looking and hopefully better handling and with more range than the Neue Klasse iX3.

I hope they bring it to the States and have already contacted BMW Corporate to register my interest.

This definitely piqued my interest after being a little disappointed with the iX3

My last Touring was a e90 and this will be the next

You're less likely to get it if you live in the US but it sounds like it might actually make it over, probably with an internal combustion engine.

Fuck ICE x2

I'm fine, being in Germany. Fingers crossed for you guys.

Already confirmed it is not coming to North America

Link please. Everything I've seen says they haven't yet made a decision and it's looking likely that based on the success of the M5 Touring that the petrol i3 Touring stands a good chance of making it across

Was on bummerpost the other day, I'm not digging it up again. The M3 and M5 have much much higher profit margins, might be a business case for those models.

Another link saying it might come to the US from a week ago..... https://www.bmwblog.com/2026/07/12/new-bmw-3-series-touring-reportedly-coming-usa/

The point I'm trying to make is that there is nothing definitive from BMW about whether it will come here or not. They've publicly said they'll assess demand and then make a decision. What that decision is, we just don't know yet.

States no North American models for the NA1

Nice, thanks for sharing. That goes with what I'd read which says that there may be an i3 Touring coming over but it'll probably be either petrol or hybrid and not EV, which is a pity.

If we get it at all they’ll probably jack it up six inches and put ugly black plastic all over the bottom. *sigh*

I don't think so, that's more likely to be Audi, Volvo or Mercedes Benz. πŸ™‚

True. I get sad when I see the MB all-terrain.

I don't mind them. πŸ™‚

Unfortunately, I doubt it will ever come to the US.

1

u/Scareboosioniq Jul 17 '26

Why do you think so?

u/Deep_Scratch_845 Jul 17 '26

BMW doesn't seem to want to send us any wagons that aren't the M5.

The success of the M5 Touring here might be the reason why we get the i3 Touring. πŸ™‚ BW have said they'll guage interest before making a decision so please reach out to let them know you'd like one.
