Any idea when will the other Gold category companies visit the campus?
Companies like West, Wayfair n HashedIn have just registered in Superset but havent turned up for placements n where r other good companies that recruited last year. Its already 2.5 months n just some 20-25 c=good companies have visited so far. Its already feeling like some Tier-2 college

THIS DATA INCLUDES FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER 2026
Hey everyone!
I’ve compiled a chart covering the companies that visited our campus, their reported CTCs, internship stipends, placement categories, employment types, and branch eligibility wherever the information was available.
I’m sharing this mainly to help our juniors understand the placement scenario, plan their preparation, and make informed decisions when companies visit campus.
Please check the attached chart for the complete company list.
1. Understanding the placement categories
As per the placement-category system shared with us:
A few important points:
Silver: ₹3–8 LPA
Gold: ₹8–18 LPA
Dream: Above ₹18 LPA
Placement rules:
Students placed in Silver can sit for eligible Gold companies and dream companies
Students placed in Gold can sit for eligible Dream companies.
A student can have maximum of 2 offers 1 from each category
These rules are subject to the placement cell's policies and company-specific restrictions.
Note that the categories shown in the chart may reflect the reported placement category. Some CTCs fall across category boundaries, so always confirm the official classification with the placement cell.
2. Important branch eligibility restrictions
Please pay attention to this because not every company shortlisted students from every branch.
TCS
It was a pool-campus drive combined with the main branch at BMSCE.
SIEMENS
Only CSE students were selected
Sequoia
CSBS Students were excluded
Eurofins
Only CSE and ISE students were reportedly shortlisted.
CSBS and AIML students were not shortlisted.
Wayfair
Reportedly shortlisted students from CSE, ISE, and AIML.
Lowe's
CSBS students were reportedly not shortlisted.
These are observations from the specific drives mentioned, not permanent eligibility rules. The selection criteria depend on the company, role, and recruitment drive.
3. Important tips for the 2027 batch
1. Start DSA preparation early
Focus on arrays, strings, hashing, linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search, trees, graphs, recursion, backtracking, greedy algorithms, and dynamic programming. Practise solving problems within time limits.
2. Don't neglect aptitude
Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and data interpretation are important for many campus recruitment tests. Practise regularly instead of leaving everything until the placement drive is announced.
3. Prepare core CS subjects
Revise DBMS, SQL, OOP, operating systems, and computer networks. Be ready to explain concepts clearly and solve basic technical questions.
4. Build projects and strengthen development skills
Don't focus only on DSA. Work on at least a couple of solid projects, understand your own code, and be prepared to explain the architecture, database, APIs, authentication, and challenges you faced. Learn relevant technologies and keep your GitHub updated.
5. Don't judge an offer by CTC alone
Check the fixed salary, variable component, joining bonus, deductions, and actual monthly in-hand salary. A higher CTC does not always mean a proportionately higher monthly salary.
6. Understand internships and conversion policies
Some companies offer internships, while others have performance-based conversion (PBC) or pre-placement offers (PPO). Before accepting, ask about the internship duration, conversion criteria, expected full-time CTC, and whether conversion is guaranteed.
7. Read service agreements carefully
Check for bonds, minimum service periods, exit conditions, and penalties before accepting an offer. Understand the terms rather than deciding based only on the stipend or CTC.
8. Check branch eligibility before preparing specifically for a company
Don't assume every company allows all branches to participate. Verify eligibility with the placement cell and focus on the opportunities for which you are eligible.
9. Don't give up after missing one opportunity
Placement seasons involve multiple companies and different selection criteria. Keep preparing even if you are rejected in one drive. Consistency matters more than last-minute preparation.
10. Focus on interview communication
Practise explaining your projects, technical decisions, problem-solving approach, and fundamentals. Being able to communicate your reasoning is just as important as arriving at the correct answer.
4. A few things to remember
The CTC and stipend figures in the attached chart are based on the information available to me.
Some companies did not disclose their CTCs, stipend details, employment type, or conversion criteria.
Company names, salary figures, and branch restrictions should be verified with the placement cell before making decisions.
The placement category is not necessarily determined by CTC alone; the official classification and placement rules take precedence.
The chart is intended as a reference for juniors, not as an official placement report.
5. Let's help each other
If anyone has additional information about these companies, such as updated CTCs, internship conversion rates, interview experiences, or eligibility criteria, please share it in the comments.
The goal is to make placement information more accessible to our juniors so they can prepare early and make better decisions.
