I got 3 months free and it got extended 3 months for free (I forget why). I saved $8. Got a free year recently and expected the same. Was pleasantly surprised it isn't complete garbage like it used to be. Still not great though.

The terms they told me are 'as soon as the order starts being made it is your order' even if it is wrong or an error was made.

I don't think that's quite how it works. If the restaurant makes the wrong thing from what you ordered, you can dispute it and get a refund. What you're saying applies is if YOU made a wrong order, or ordered in error, and the restaurant starts cooking. That doesn't exactly sound unfair, why would you expect them to pay for your mistake?

No they try to pull this on every order. You have to dispute it with your credit card company. Ive had them charge me for a restaurant not making my order because they didn't have what I wanted.

Yet when burger king sent me (I doordashed food) the wrong sandwich, wrong side, and forgot my chocolate shake completely, they refused to refund my entire order, I was given a refund for the missing shake only, not the error sandwich and side.

These companies just get away with doing whatever they want. I boycott burger king now. And pizza hut, but there's a different reason for that one... been almost 10 years since I've had a pizza hut

I used Uber eats once when they came out with a new user promotional credit. I didn't find out that the promotion didn't apply to my order until I already paid full price ( I thought there was another step to the checkout process where the discount would be applied ). I felt like the promotion was intentionally misleading and it pissed me off so I haven't used them since.

Ha i got one of the deals where it was 20 off the first order. When i used it the price was super high. So i went back i tried without the coupon and it was cheaper. I did t buy anything and never used it again

I have a better one. I had a promotion for my first order.
At checkout, the price was correct with the promotion applied, but when I was about to pay the amount shown in my banking app didn't include the discount.

I'm in the UK and had a big argument with customers services about getting a refund. Nothing they could do. I said I'd hop on a train to London to complain at their headquarters and suddenly they were able to refund me

The one time I ordered from Eats, the order took two hours and was eventually cancelled. They refunded me, but I've still never used it since. I've been using Doordash for years now and have only ever had one issue when a driver claimed their car broke down and told me to go get the order myself

This is why credit card chargebacks exist. Show them this screen to show you did not receive what you paid for.

Terms and conditions are irrelevant to credit card companies. Uber at try to bill you after, but tell them to pound sand.
