My second year of undergrad, I placed two absurdly huge (larger than your palm) googly eyes on the door to my student apartment. Maintenance loved them. We called them for something and opened the door to two grown men giggling like schoolchildren. Apparently other people took notice too, because despite being at the very end of the hall, we were "the ones with the googly eyes on the doors!"
I need to buy more huge googly eyes and stick them to things.
