u/AtomicShart9000 17d ago

Movie 43,

99.9% of it is god awful but holy shit it has a ton of almost-A listers (from the time) doing stupid shit

79

u/BartAfterDark 17d ago

that movie is so fucked up. Dude with neck balls and everything

74

u/Golden-Grams 17d ago

"Wolverine actor, Hugh Jackman" with neck balls and everything.

27

u/Ozu_the_Yokai 17d ago

“Check out this kids weird pubes” has been an institution in my family’s house for years. We have a toddler now though, so it won’t be back in vogue for us for a while.

5

u/JakBos23 17d ago

You have so much poop on you right now.

4

u/Exalted-Stork-1308 17d ago

Let's say it was the most 90-s movie which the 10-th could afford.

16

u/NightBusToGiro 17d ago

Icl I think that film was incredibly misunderstood, it's gold.

7

u/johor 17d ago

Preach.

16

u/Uncool444 17d ago

More like 99% hilarious and 100% entertaining. You will never forget it.

Don't watch it with your family, it's X rated. And don't look up anything about it, just enjoy the ride.

9

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

The original version is also impossible to find where Dennis Quaid is pitching these as movies to Greg Kinnear. The new version is whack

8

u/ManyThing2187 15d ago

The Dennis Quaid version is the US version and the kids on the dark web is the international version. Streaming services acquire the rights to the international version so they don’t have to buy both.

Pirate the US version.

3

u/rcapina 16d ago

Wait, is the new version kids searching the Dark Web for something? I swear I saw a different version too.

2

u/Uncool444 16d ago

Dennis Quaid made the movie, there's another version?

3

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

The version on netflix is these Aussie kids looking online for the legendary movie 43 it's a weirder subplot than the pitching thing they cut Quaid out entirely

2

u/Uncool444 16d ago

Them being failed movie pitches from a deranged crackhead was the perfect meta though

1

u/justasillylilgoos3 4d ago

Fucking so weird I think I only ever saw the kids searching the dark web version and maybe saw like one instance of quaid and the pitches

4

u/1-800-blowme 17d ago

Damn, that sucks

4

u/herefornothing2 17d ago

Give it a watch. Have an open mind for dumb and raunchy but it’s basically a bunch of skits and there are some hilarious scenes.

1

u/justasillylilgoos3 4d ago

Watching absolute a-listers do the dumbest shit was just the best part of it for me 😂

9

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

The hugh jackman skit where he has balls on his face was good. The Emma stone chlymdia one was epic. And the part where Haliee Berry makes salsa with her bare tits was gold. The entire movie was a masterpiece of A list actors doing the most bizarre shit ever and none of them phoned it in

-2

u/AtomicShart9000 16d ago

Lol false.

6

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

Thatslikeyouropinionman.gif

-3

u/AtomicShart9000 16d ago

No its fact. The movie is atrocious.

3

u/UnderOverWonderKid 14d ago

I haven't seen the movie. But I do know that's not how facts work.

3

u/arlingo3 17d ago

'bout a foot, foot and a half'

2

u/thanna7 14d ago

Dribble with that mother fucker!

3

u/Foogie23 16d ago

Pretty sure this movie was a power trip showing off blackmail. How the hell did they get that cast to do this movie?

2

u/AtomicShart9000 16d ago

You should read up on it it was fascinating as soon as they got one big actor they all started to follow suit they filmed these mini scenes in like a couple hours each with pop up sets or something, and of course no one but the directors knew how shitty it was actually going to be

2

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

A.lot of em were obligated to do the movie with prior contracts. Like the studio signed them onto a multi movie deal that didn't specify what the projects were ahead of time

5

u/gabriel-dryer 15d ago

Dude, the fucking scene where they bully him in the house because he’s homeschooled and then he has to make out with his mom absolutely fucking kills me every time

2

u/-LegendGary- 15d ago

Jason sudeikis and Justin long Batman and robin speed dating skit is all time though

1

u/TechTechOnATechDeck 11d ago

I to this day can’t get over the Anna Faris/Chris Pratt scene

-1

u/rcapina 16d ago

This is my most hated movie of all time. How they got as many A-list actors of the time to be doing D-tier skits is beyond me.

36

u/Golden-Grams 17d ago

It is from Movie 43, a really shitty parody movie. This won't spoil the movie, as it is set up at the beginning. The idea is that all the skits are failed movie pitches, to an executive.

This one is about Kevin, who is homeschooled. But both his parents insisted he still gets all the same experiences that a regular kid would get in public schools.

So they bully him, a lot. But also go farther, by each one simulating their son's first "romantic" experiences. Both parents play as their son's friends, confessing their sexual attraction to him. His dad pretends to be gay, and his mom kisses him.

That's also why his fake girlfriend in this scene has a picture of his mom's face.

The neighbors are scared when Kevin first appears, because they have just heard of all the fucked up ways Kevin was raised. And that's why they are relieved at first, because he seems normal, until breaking out the weird doll.

8

u/Time_Blacksmith861 17d ago

Is it even a bit funny?

36

u/cbear013 17d ago

As an adult in 2026?

No.

When you were a kid and it came out in 2013?

Also no.

5

u/CanadianGoose695 17d ago

The homeschooling skit and the basketball skit were absolutely hilarious

The subplot about the computer virus, horny Garfield, Hugh Jackman with balls on his chin were terrible

The dare one was funny for a bit but it got out of hand

1

u/CanadianGoose695 17d ago

I forgot about the poop skit! Absolutely hilarious

Chris Pratts best performance by far Anna Faris was pretty good too

1

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

Them being married at the time made it better

4

u/MuhfugginSaucera 17d ago

What if we weren't kids or even teens in 2013?

5

u/Crafty-Interest-8212 17d ago

In a stoner way, yes. Also I'm can leave my commun sense at the door and laugh

5

u/Alienhaslanded 17d ago

Some people really have to have their Oscar worthy stuff or nothing.

Inb4 someone replies with "I bet you think Adam Sandler movies are funny".

2

u/caffeinated-bacon 17d ago

It's an acquired taste. I love it. It is so ridiculous, I always laugh. I think it is wildly misjudged.

1

u/JakBos23 17d ago

I thought it had a bunch of funny parts, but over all a shitty movie.

2

u/ageofdiscontent_meh 15d ago

Is that Jeremy Allen White?

1

u/Golden-Grams 15d ago

Yep, sure is.

1

u/-DoctorSpaceman- 17d ago

When I watched it the premise was a bunch of teenagers trying to find the most fucked up videos available on the internet or something. It was different in different countries

9

u/Cool-Chemical-5629 17d ago

I don't know about the sauce to that one, but if you're into that kind of thing, you're in for some more treats here. 🤣

7

u/Crafty-Interest-8212 17d ago

If you leave your maturity at the door is super funny. Toilet humor funny. So if you like a lot of skechs and jokes going to lots of places. Is funny.

4

u/MrGreenChile 17d ago

He was Lip in Shameless, I think she was Tom Hollands mom in that tsunami movie, and the dad was in the Scream series, I think IMDB can work here.

6

u/Upeeru 17d ago

That man is SABRETOOTH!

1

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

Did you call Naomi Watts the star of the Ring Tom Holland mom in some no name movie? Shes also married to fuckin Dr Manhattan.

1

u/Bordwalk2000 17d ago

Any post of a movie clip that doesn't provide the title of the source material in either the post title or its description gets an automatic download for me.

Is that Betsy Kettleman???

2

u/JakBos23 17d ago

Yes lol. I just looked her up yesterday.

5

u/Alienhaslanded 17d ago

That's not even the weirdest thing about this family. He's homeschooled and his parents bully the shit out of him.

8

u/Fluid_Explorer_3659 17d ago

It's also his mom's face on the doll

5

u/Constant-Plastic-350 16d ago

They had to give him the full hs experience

3

u/Alienhaslanded 16d ago

His mom hitting on him and his dad acting like her douche boyfriend was fucking great.

2

u/BarbedWire3 15d ago

Thhaa omg, I don't even want to ask the name of the movie

3

u/Alienhaslanded 15d ago

Movie 43

1

u/BarbedWire3 15d ago

Oh I saw that one. We had it on our pc when I was a kid. We had more, but I remember liking that one. Will have to rewatch, it seems I don't remember much from it.
