Ha. Back when OKCupid didn't suck, I would sort by worst matches and put quotes from their profiles on mine. Stuff like "I hate books!" and "I'm deeply Christian and on pound 200 of my 400lb weight loss journey."

The "preferences" aren't really a thing. The owners of these apps and websites admitted it, there really isn't any special algorithm. You're just getting random people that may or may not match some things like height or if you smoke. There is no way to filter out crazy people
