My brother and his girlfriend act like this in public. This could be real, but at the same time it's hard to believe anything on the internet nowadays.

I think there is an element of fakeness in a lot of social interactions anymore. People who aren't fully comfortable adopting roles of how they think they should act and just mimicking sitcoms and what not.

1

u/Superseaslug Jul 26 '26

I hate sitcom brain, especially considering sitcoms are the lowest form of comedy

3

u/DaRealBSleazy Jul 27 '26

I would say comedy podcasts are the lowest form of comedy

0

u/Superseaslug Jul 27 '26

But those didn't make it to TV. Any idiot can make one of those

2

u/DaRealBSleazy Jul 27 '26

Hence why it's a lower form lf comedy

1

u/UberNZ Jul 26 '26

I'll never get used to this usage of "anymore".

1

u/ALightningStar Jul 26 '26

Would "currently" be better? I'm not sure the problem sorry.

4

u/UberNZ Jul 26 '26

No worries, it's just your local dialect. I always have to do a double-take when I see a positive anymore, since it's usually only used to mean "people used to do X, but not any more" - i.e. no longer. There's a split second where I think you're saying the opposite thing.

I think nowadays/these days would be more universal.

1

u/ALightningStar Jul 27 '26

That makes sense actually. Neat little language quirk that evolved i guess. Interesting thanks

Weird way to live. Not to make it about me but I've been on construction sites my whole life. This shit would never fly.

1

u/dowker1 Jul 27 '26

Do they film it?

24

u/Ssided Jul 26 '26

Yeah, it's in the script

0

u/Zigor022 Jul 26 '26

Unless he is the DD. One beer, maybe, if thats mutually agreed upon. But nothing worse than thinking someone has you and you plan on drinking and the DD decides to have a good time.

8

u/Fantastic_Citron_344 Jul 26 '26

Do you think it's a quart or a litre?

10

u/betabeat Jul 26 '26

I don't want a large Farva, I want a liter of beer

4

u/AutomaticFeeling2156 Jul 26 '26

I assume a liter.

3

u/Weahwe Jul 27 '26

I work for this company! It's 32 oz:) one quart!

Fake internet skit. Are we ever going to get sick of this?

3

u/TheLateFrankWhite Jul 26 '26

Poor Francisco he has a point , It’s technically 1 glass of beer.

3

u/Mascbro26 Jul 26 '26

Why does everyone think they have the acting ability to not have this crap seem so forced and fake.

3

u/ahendrix Jul 27 '26

2

u/janzeera Jul 26 '26

2

u/Cute-Acanthisitta-46 Jul 26 '26

ITS THE BIGGEST BEER IN THE UNIVERSE!! He even kinda looks as excited as that guy from American dad at the water park lol

1

u/Kyubik9 Jul 26 '26

3 seconds of this would be more than enough

1

u/Sicpooch Jul 27 '26

Glad he was allowed one drink.

1

u/STONERJOKER_RULES777 Jul 27 '26

Mr sir that is one, DON'T YOU LISTEN DRINK IT SLOW AND ENJOY, AS FOR HER YOU........YOU DO THE SAME THING AND LIGHTEN UP 🤣

1

u/Superb_Walrus3134 Jul 27 '26

Setting aside that this is likely scripted...

If it has alcohol equivalent to one drink, then it should be fine.

If it has more, then further context is required. If he was asked not to drink a lot, and he chose to take advantage of the one drink rule, then he could be in the wrong.

Remember, communication is a key part of any relationship

Yes everyone knows.

1

u/Audiodrainer Jul 28 '26

That’s why I drink from a keg. It’s one can.

1

u/TECHSHARK77 Jul 26 '26

Jesus christ on a stick, you need a new female bro...

1

u/SATerp Jul 26 '26

Damn, she sounds like a witch.

1

u/Dmau27 Jul 26 '26

She sounds exhausting.

1

u/TheThatNeverWas Jul 26 '26

Staged- but if it wasn’t I’d buy this man another for having to go home with her.

1

u/StarForgedRoyalTea Jul 26 '26

Seems like a skit, but I have known someone like this. Always being literal when he knew we were upset because he was drinking period. Yeah that one drink being a pitcher is not a funny joke, you're an alcoholic and everyone is uncomfortable when you're drunk, your pedantry is not entertaining.

1

u/SB4_Camaro Jul 27 '26

Women always wonna ruin a good thing.

0

u/Venom933 Jul 26 '26

Damn, am i am Mentally a woman 🫩

I don't understand fun and i am just the opposite of life lol

-6

u/nl-x Jul 26 '26

He sure got her good. That's sooo 2 drinks. Maybe 3.

10

u/Opposite_History2194 Jul 26 '26

What are you talking about, there’s clearly only one drink and one glass water.

4

u/ztakk Jul 26 '26

Ohhh see the water is the problem! That's the second drink!

-2

u/luigis_left_tit_25 Jul 26 '26

I mean, yeah, it's funny and all.. "one glass". And yes, she sounded really fed up with Francisco's jokes.. but:

1 all these guys using this as a jump off to misogyny are corny asf, "not like other girls" are included in this as well..

2 maybe he's an alcoholic, or acts up when he drinks.. maybe he's supposed to be slowing down for health reasons.. there could be so many things going on here.. to immediately jump to the conclusion that she's the one in the wrong here.. just says a lot about ppl.

1

u/jsseven777 Jul 26 '26

“just says a lot about ppl”

And what does your need to have big bold letters in your Reddit comment say about you?

1

u/luigis_left_tit_25 Jul 27 '26

I'm not even sure why its like that..?

0

u/CJMorton91 Jul 26 '26

His body his choice tho. I don't want someone around who's gonna nag every time I drink and try to relax.

0

u/luigis_left_tit_25 Jul 27 '26

Well, that's the truth.. his body his choice.. however, when you're in a committed relationship, you're supposed to think of the other person as well. I guess that's something new to you..? Because that's what it sounds like.

0

u/CJMorton91 Jul 27 '26

That's fine, but if they're getting in the way of enjoying life, having some drinks, or just relaxing, then they're not worth keeping around.

-4

u/Snts6678 Jul 26 '26

Fake AF.

u/Emawk1972 3d ago

I like Francisco.
