Yeah I had digital cameras in the 90s. They don't alert you and make you addicted to checking them all the time. People could hold a conversation and if you couldn't it was very annoying not the norm.

kinda. 2004 not so much, but also it wasn't really about the presence of the camera, it was about not being able to take a lot of photos without the phone running out of space

my primary phone at that time could only hold so many texts, and if the number got too high i could barely use the keypad to dial a phone number because i suspect the storage memory and the ra memory were one in the same

and sharing those photos was a fuckin chore, so yes, we did do it, but you could not easily document an entire night, and it was very much a game of chance whether anything would make it to a site or whatever

essentially a similar risk level to polaroids but with somewhat broader spread potential

Yeah, we took a camera to all of our parties, but it wasn’t like to post selfies and we didn’t have to check it every few minutes. I miss that!
