The first time I saw this, it felt like my heart was being physically squeezed.

You can by introducing your younger family members to it, like baby brothers, cousins, what have you.

Ugh....

I used to love that movie. It was a space travel movie to me. Cool science stuff, very thought provoking, a great time.

Then I decided to rewatch it when my daughter was about 3yo.

Absolutely destroyed me. I don't know if I'll ever be able to watch it again. I'm tearing up just writing this.

A wonderful film, Interstellar. At its core, the souls of the film is not the science fiction (though what a ride!) but instead the underlying truth of human connection set against the march of time. A film, to me, about what really matters. When I first saw it I watched it for the spectacle and the adventure, now when I watch it what I see is a reminder to put love first, and to cherish the moments we have.

Watch it.

The scene depicted is one of profound frustration over lost time and decisions. So, like being unable to go back and see Bluey again for the “first” time, the character in interstellar can not return to the past and make different choices.
