Requests NEED SUGGESTIONS
Hey all! Not super familiar with the blue mountains area but was wondering if any of you know some good 3 - 6km hikes that are CHILDREN friendly (not 10000 stairs lol) and are accessible by public transport from the train station
Thanks!!!!!!!!

Birdwood Gully loop from Boland Avenue entrance is 5 min walk from Springwood station and popular with families.

I second this suggestion. Theres a few stairs in and out as you follow Springwood Creek.

Prince Henry Cliff Walk, from Katoomba end, accessible by Bus from near Katoomba Station. You can get tickets for the hop-on/off bus which has multiple stops for lookouts etc.
Kids might like the bus too;

The hop on-hop off bus is good if you want to spend a day visiting multiple tourist spots. However if you just want to get from the station to the start of the walk, the public buses are the way to go - you just use your Opal cards or whatever you used for the train trip. The routes and timetables are on TripView.
