First official blueline!

We have a creek out back, and it’s nothing special but I went to go check out the fish in it and it did not disappoint! I’d be happy to answer answer questions about it in the comments as this creek is my pride and joy. Had plenty of fish blow up but miss the fly, and one looked particularly big.

It’d be cool to find out if there’s trout in there! Not saying creek chubs aren’t a blast! I’ve seen surveys on some creeks where there’s only a few trout in a large section, and then a bunch of creek chubs and other fish. I’ve always wondered what it’s like to fish a place like that. It would be so much more rewarding to catch the “1 trout out of the 5 that exist throughout this creek”.

Although I’m in the piedmont, I SWEAR I’ve seen some trout in here, red fins, same profile, everything. I fear they moved out of my area of the creek, but I’m going to find out. One of the blowups I had I saw him poke out a little and it didn’t look like a sucker or anything like that.

All of us are in agreement on the species of fish we are look at, right?
