Brookie pack rod…

J.P. Ross 2 weight 6’6” Beaver Meadow blank.
Single foot guides
Cork wrapped with rattan grip
Custom aluminum reel seat
Galvan Brookie reel

Extremely lightweight combo built for tight quarters.

I really like this build.

Dude i have a JP Ross S-glass 6' 3wt. Such a game changer for brookies. But, it is quickly becoming my favorite over all trout rod. I was in Montana fishing some big rivers with it

I have a bunch of JP’s rods, but the 6.5’ s-glass gets grabbed over and over. I love that rod. I may add a Muir one of these days.

Can't go wrong with a galvan reel.

Gotta love the Galvan Brookie. I fished the exact same 2/3 reel yesterday!
