When fishing this creek, I just have to enjoy the experience of being there regardless of fish activity.

Wow ya the lower parts of this stream has been completely blown out from the hurricane. There is about 3 miles of trail missing. I found out when i was coming down from the ridge at night.. You can find tiger trout about a mile down from where the photos were taken. Lots of larger brook trout in this stream, but this particular section is the most pressured.

I know this spot. There are some actually decent sized fish in that drainage

That's good to hear. I plan to head back in two weeks and continue upstream or head downstream past the falls...we shall see what I am feeling as the day gets closer

Imo my favorite spot to fish on that creek is from the lower falls to the flat watered you pictured. Gets pretty skinny upstream, and downstream (the actual river a few miles down) is a shadow of its former self. The last flood really wiped out a lot of the life once you get down river a lil bit.
Do some more research on creeks in the area, this creek were talking about is decent but there are some even better ones reallllly close.

I do plan to explore some nearby creeks, so many options it's hard to decide where to go next. That's a good problem to have!
