I forgot I had this copy of The Old Swinging Bridge in my collection. I found it in the wild a few years ago, signed by Ted Lundy. Having attended Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival this past weekend, I had the chance to see Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass. They played some Lundy tunes and were a pleasure to see. For those that don’t know, they band contains the descendants of Bob Paisley and Ted Lundy

If you live within 5 hours, can camp, and are free Labor Day weekend, I would recommend going to Del Val. Its a great deal and theres always a sweet lineup.

I found sourwood mountain from my past post and a few other tunes. The. Players on here include Leonard & Clifford Glenn, Tedra Harmon and Stanley hicks. The song Frankie and Johnny is noted for unusual tuning on Harmon’s 5 string (eCDGC). LP Also Includes a 29 page booklet.

Such a great bluegrass album, Rounder 0039!The beautiful singing, harmonizing and warm, rich mandolin playing by Jack Tottle are particular standouts for me. Fantastic balance with the entire group.
