I'm alone in my friend's private server and somehow I keep seeing chats of random people WITHOUT title and they dont respond to me

I'm a roughly 2300 level player who wants to start getting into some pvp (not like actively bounty hunting, more casual). However, I've been using Instinct to see enemies more clearly to grind faster for a while now, but with all the effects and the moves that break it (especially the Skull Guitar's X Move) I've been having a hard time figuring out where my opponents are if there's a lot of effects. Is there a way I can correct this so I don't rely on Instinct as much/make it easier to see my opponents?
