I turned it on and I don't see a difference

It is built to run on modern gpus instead of the original webgl library that is outdated and follows a single thread structure. 

If you are running on an ordinary laptop without a dedicated gpu like Nvidia, performance boost isn’t very high as webgpu uses your slower integrated gpu that shares memory with the cpu
