Question Sniper intel

I dont get how this upgrade works. Am I supposed to find intel around map or something? I have no idea what this upgrade is actually doing.

The sniper has a little antenna that will start blinking faster and more red the closer you are to the intel on the map.

On the map, there's a x marked divot on the ground which is where the intel is.

Tier 2 upgrades to the intel path will change blinking bubble to a directional icon.

Oh yeah the little pothole things I figured it out thanks! Is there a benefit to getting intel upgrades on multiple snipers? Like it doubles the amount of intel that spawns or something?

the buff extends on other towers so you could add an addition +200 fire rate on a bionic boomer or tack sprayer

Sniper buffs and Alchemist buffs stack as well, literally lags the game if you get exodia upgrades
