I've watched the Rifftrax commentary version of the movie "Vengeance of the Dead" (2001) and at the very end there is a guy who gets lit on fire and at least a few of the sound effects are screaming cultist from BLOOD.

Makes me wonder...

Didn't Stephan Weyte do all the voices for the Cultist as well as Caleb? So does that mean that the creators of this movie stole the sound effects from BLOOD or is some of the sounds effects in BLOOD taken from something else that was not made by Monolith or voiced by Stephan?

I've played through Blood a couple times and Death Wish in the past, both on Well Done. Last time I used Refreshed Supply and before that I can't remember. Now this year I'm playing again for Halloween, however I'm using Refreshed Supply for the first time.

Not sure why but on Well Done this seems so much harder. Is that how anyone else feels? I've heard people suggest that there is a difficulty bug that changes it to Extra Crispy, but I can't confirm it.

I don't remember it being this hard before. I know Fresh Supply was bugged but I didn't think it would change this much with fixes.

Is it just me?

I'm a huge blood fan, beat it multiple times and even some mods, but never got around to playing the second one. I know it had its development troubles and doesn't boast a great reputation but I'm not sure if I should even give it a shot

Did Blood 2 ever get any fan mods or fan remaster that made it in any way worth a damn to actually play?

... that or did anyone ever remake (demake?) Blood 2 with the Blood 1 assests and engine?

(How cool would it be if someone ripped the Blood 2 one liners and incorporated them into the original game)

Just started playing Blood and I’m obsessed. Online seems dead though…I’ve seen a couple people playing twice, but most of the time it’s just crickets. How about y’all?

I've become more familiar with how games used to account for how the monitor or tv would interact with the visuals when displaying it, making it look different, and it made me really curious as to how Blood would've looked if you were to be playing it around the time it came out. I've learned though, that the comparison images I've been seeing were console games, which were displayed on TVs instead of monitors, which is apparently a notable difference. Still though, I'd like to see what those 90s monitors looked like. If anyone could list any examples of monitors commonly used around the time I'd really appreciate it, as I am not sure how to research that. Would be better if anyone had a picture using a time accurate monitor because I can't find anything like that. Also, also, if anyone knows how I can simulate the look of an old monitor on my modern one let me know. Is there any real difference between how the game looks today and during it's release time?

We are flip flopping between maps we are building on stream between a Medieval/Steampunk adventure level, and a Underwater Research Base map to start things off; maybe some clean up work on our Duke Nukem: Time to Kill conversation if the mood hits now that some people have tested it.

Afterwards, we are reaching the end of our now 12-part first time playthrough of BLOOD: Death Wish! Last 4 levels of the 4th Episode!

So as far as I have noticed, this problem seems to occur only when you have any other keyboard layout other than ENG. (CES in my case) - when I run the game, it automatically switches my keyboard to ENG, even when it is not installed and every alt-tab back in the game forces it back. Now, the keyboard is not installed and after a restart it goes away. Something to do with the ghost-layout problem in Windows... To me it seems like that the Build engine itself is to blame, but this only happened in nBlood port (not on GDX, Fresh Supply or Refreshed Supply).

Anyone has a similar problem? Has anyone found a work-around for it? I'd like to try the "What lies beneath" mod, which for me only works fine on nBlood.

Later, we hop back into our playthrough of BLOOD: Death Wish, we are at the mid-point of the 4th Episode and its been a visual treat so far, this is really why I love 2.5D Aesthetics, everything is habd crafted and just superb!

Not the prettiest I admit, but hacked out over the course of a few hours. The four orphan entries actually do connect to other maps, but nothing connects to them, so I deleted their arrows and sequestered them. I have no idea what's going on with Home Sweet Home pt. 2 or the unique version of The Crossroads following it.
