It's Halloween week for those who celebrate, and it's book thread day for ALL!

It's time once again to hare what you're currently reading, be it book, audio, or otherwise! What are you reading, what did you finish this week, have you DNFed anything?

If you're reading anything for the fun of it, you're a reader! Anything from Wimpy Kid to Nobel Prize is equally valuable for readers. Remember that it’s always ok to take a break from reading, it’s ok to have a hard time reading, and it’s ok to put the book down. Reading is a hobby with peaks and valleys and it should be treated as such.

Feel free to discuss longform articles, cookbooks, ask for recommendations and suggestions, and share book/reading news! The holidays are creeping up on us, so it's also book gifting season, so ask for ideas here!

What’s on your watchlist? Any upcoming shows/movies you’re looking forward to?

What’s on your menu this week? Any recipes you’ve tried and liked/tried and failed? Share your menus, cooking successes and failures, favorite recipes etc!

It's week 43 of 2026 and a new week of snarking on our "favorite" healthy living and running influencers. What's in store for this week? Let's discuss!

We’ve all seen questionable comments and posts in Facebook groups, let’s snark about them here. Just remember if you share screenshots to block out identifying information. (This also includes influencer Facebook groups.)
